  • About the band.

    If one word had to be used to describe this fresh formation it would be " Unity". "Craving for Unity" is the moto of the Knuets/Sécula Quartet. Aware of their dinstinctiveness as human beings, the four players like to take music in the wider sense of the word. Ears and Hearts opened, constantly trying to honour the flame they have been given by past and alive masters, they are on a quest to unlock the ways of unity on the bandstand.

    On December 8th 2023 they released their first single “Talks I”, composed by Noé Sécula. An extract of an album to be released on January 19th 2024 under Noé’s name.

Noé and Gerard use their technique at the service of expression. “Et la buée était perlée d’une pluie mourante” is a fully improvised piece that ideally gives a taste of this promising project. Imbued with french poetry, catching the various forms the empty moment suggests.
